Role Profile
Raynham Primary School is part of the Children First Trust and is a friendly, warm and welcoming three/four form entry school with a Pre-school and Nursery attached to the school. The school has a rich and diverse culture, with a mobile population.
We are looking for two Learning Support Assistants to work with children across the school.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative.
They would need to be confident, work as part of a team and ensure that they are accelerating pupil's learning.
The role may include:
● Supporting a SEND pupil on a 1:1 basis in the classroom
● Providing targeted support outside of the classroom
● Delivering differentiated activities to small groups of pupils
● Liaising with the SENCO/Inclusion manager to deliver SEND provision
● Developing social/emotional skills (depending on individual need)
● Working with teachers to monitor progress of pupils
