We are an outstanding, highly over-subscribed, friendly and welcoming two form entry Voluntary Aided Church of England primary school in the heart of Winchmore Hill, close to The Green and the overground train station. 

 

The school has a Christian ethos which is celebrated and incorporated into the daily life of the school. The school has a strong community feel and is well supported by parents. There is an established senior leadership team in place and staff are welcoming and friendly.

 

The school are looking for a music teacher to provide PPA cover for class teachers. In this role you will be planning and teaching music lessons across the school from Reception to Year 6. Curriculum planning and a scheme of work are in place but this can be reviewed and adapted to maximise pupils learning and enjoyment under your leadership. As well as class music lessons, you will take on responsibilities for whole school music activities including performances and concerts. There are also opportunities to run clubs and afterschool music groups. Previous experience leading music within a primary school setting would be desirable. This role is offered on a part-time (2 days per week) basis from September 2022.
