Head Gardener (part time)
21 hours per week (over 3 days), 39 weeks per year
Actual Salary Range: £11,690 - £12,553 p.a inc (Scale 4)

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our site staff team and to take pride in providing a beautifully maintained environment for staff, pupils and visitors alike.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of grounds development and maintenance, a demonstrable passion for the environment and a keen eye for creating surroundings which are aesthetically pleasing as well as being wildlife-friendly. They will be able to work under their own initiative, whilst helping to direct and manage another part-time gardener, and effectively work alongside the 2 site managers. The role will require an element of helping our children to learn about the natural world and encouraging an interest in living harmoniously within it.
