Teaching Assistants x 2 – Starting September 2021

Hours: 30 hours x 38 weeks per annum

Actual Salary Range: £15,402 - £15,681 p.a inc (Scale 3)

George Spicer Primary School is a large, successful primary school split over 2 sites, based in Enfield, North London.  We are a ‘Good’ school, judged by Ofsted in February 2017, and have achieved UNICEF’s Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award. The role of a TA at George Spicer is varied and may involve taking small groups of children, working 1:1 with children with specific needs, as well as general support at whole class level.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Commitment and enthusiasm for working with children
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven skill and ability in working with children with special needs

Although this post is for Teaching Assistants with proven skills and abilities in working with children with special needs, we would be prepared to consider training the right person and would welcome applications from people with motivation and enthusiasm.
