This is a hybrid job, working in the school’s Early Years provision until 3pm, then running our new After School Club provision. The successful candidates must have NVQ Level 3 Childcare or an equivalent qualification that is relevant to the role. A paediatric first aid qualification is also desirable. Both roles will require excellent communication, administration, and organisational skills and the successful candidate will demonstrate high levels of professionalism, team work and the ability to ensure the effective running of the After School Club.

Salary Range:
Early Years Assistant (EYA): £9,688 - £9,834 p.a inc (Scale 3) EYA 11.30am – 3pm (with half hour break)
After School Club Leader (ASCL): £9,984 - £10,602 p.a inc (Scale 4) ASCL 3pm - 6pm
Combined Salary: £19,672 - £20,436 p.a Inc
Hours per week: 30 hours per week, 11:30 – 6pm (Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch)
39 weeks per year, term time only
Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term (potential to permanent dependant on after school club numbers)
Start Date: ASAP
