Teaching Assistant (KS1/KS2)

30 hours per week x 39 weeks per year

Permanent 

Actual Salary Range:  £17,780 - £18,072  p.a inc (Scale 3)

Raglan is a large federation of Raglan Infant and Junior Schools with 930 pupils and 120 staff. 

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistants to support our pupils with their learning and development. Like most schools, we have a range of pupils with additional needs, who require a range of support. 

There are 20 classes across KS1 and KS2 with a varying degree of needs including those pupils with an EHCP. All our TAs in KS1/KS2 work with pupils with SEND as well as supporting the class and teacher as needed.

The successful applicant will:

• Hold a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (A-C Grades)  and a high standard of spoken English
• Be an effective communicator and have high expectations
• Be a committed and flexible team player who will be able to work well with others and share ideas
• Be a motivated person who is keen to develop their own expertise
