Hours: 20 hours per week (5 hours per day split between morning and evening shift)

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Site Manager to take overall responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and security of our school premises. This is a vital role in ensuring that the school environment remains welcoming, safe, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, safe, and secure school premises, including buildings and grounds
- Carry out cleaning, handyperson activities, routine maintenance, refurbishment, and minor repairs
- Supervise the school cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Promote and enforce health and safety practices throughout the school
- Manage all aspects of site management, including supervising external contractors and planning site use and development
- Ensure the school premises comply with all relevant safety regulations and policies
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in site management or a similar role involving premises maintenance
- Competence in handyperson tasks, cleaning, and routine maintenance
- Experience supervising staff or managing contractors
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements in a school setting
