We value love, respect and integrity, and we are proud of the positive relationships between pupils, staff, families, governors and St Michael’s Church.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, calm and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work across the school. The successful candidate will provide short-term class cover during planned and unplanned teacher absence, support pupils with learning, and contribute to intervention and pastoral provision where needed. Every day will be different, so flexibility, professionalism and a positive approach are essential.
We are looking for someone who is:
· committed to helping children learn, behave well and achieve their best;
· confident leading whole-class learning from prepared plans and resources;
· able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families;
· calm, consistent and fair when supporting behaviour and routines;
· well organised, reliable and able to use initiative;
· committed to inclusion and able to support pupils with a range of needs;
· able to uphold and actively support the Christian ethos, values and vision of our school.
· a strong team player who demonstrates kindness, respect and integrity, and enjoys working collaboratively with others to achieve the best outcomes for children.
We can offer:
· a close-knit, welcoming and supportive school community;
· motivated children who enjoy learning;
· a clear behaviour culture rooted in relationships, dignity and high expectations;
· opportunities for professional development and coaching;
· a broad and creative curriculum with a strong focus on the whole child;
· strong links with parents, governors, the local community and St Michael’s Church.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please call the office on 020 8363 2724 or email vacancies@st-michaels.enfield.sch.uk
