We are currently seeking to appoint a part-time (job-share) Admin Assistant. We are looking for someone who is friendly, courteous and people-oriented to work in the school office. An additional language, such as Turkish, would be advantageous, but not essential. The role is office-based and involves
● supporting face to face enquiries
● handling day-to-day school administrative tasks
● managing incoming phone calls and emails
● checking and reporting pupil attendance
● being a point of contact between parents and visitors and staff.
The role is supported by the School Business Manager and is part of a job share with another member of staff. Whilst the days are fixed between the two people, there is some flexibility when needed.
Raglan is a federation of two schools that work as one. The office is a busy environment as we have 930 pupils on roll and the office serves both schools.
We are looking for someone who
● Is highly organised
● Has good communication and writing skills
● Has a professional and calm manner
● Works well in a team
● Has some knowledge of Apple Mac, MOffice and Google Workspace
● Has experience of school MIS systems e.g. Arbor (but could be taught)
● Has good knowledge of safeguarding in schools
