Actual Salary Range: £19,488 (Scale 2) - £20,045 (Scale 3)
dependant on qualifications and proven skills and ability
Hours: 28.5 hpw / 39 wpa
8:45am to 2:45pm daily + 1 hour per week – to be arranged
Role: Permanent

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Targeted SEND Support & Interventions: Deliver pre-determined learning, therapy, and medical/intimate care programmes for individuals or small groups, adapting approaches to ensure pupils with special needs can fully access the curriculum and build independence.
- Curriculum & Planning Collaboration: Support the class teacher to plan differentiated activities, prepare resources, and help develop tailored group or individual learning programmes.
- Pastoral Care & Safeguarding: Support children's emotional and physical wellbeing - including lunchtime supervision, basic medical and personal care needs, and managing distress - while strictly adhering to school policies, health and safety laws, and safeguarding protocols (reporting to the DSL).
- Professionalism & Teamwork: Act as a flexible, reliable role model within the school community by attending staff meetings, assisting with school events, and building sensitive, confidential relationships with parents.
