Part-Time Learning Assistant Role

PART TIME

Hours: 17.5 hours per week for 38 weeks per year

8.45am – 12.15pm (3.5 hours per day)

Actual Salary Range: £10,105 - £10,272 p.a inc (Scale 3)

Contract Type: Permanent

St. Andrew’s is a friendly, high-achieving Church school in the heart of Enfield Town. With close links to St. Andrew’s Church; pupils, staff and parents are very much a part of a supportive community. We are looking a part time Learning Assistant, to work in our Reception classes.

We are looking to appoint exceptional staff who are capable, enthusiastic, highly confident and motivated, with a relevant qualification and knowledge of working with young children.

This role will essentially involve working with a pupil or pupils with complex or additional needs, either within a group or individually, as directed by the class teacher.

The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the ethos of a Church of England school, its vision and values and be able to work collaboratively with other members of staff and children.

Excellent numeracy and literacy are expected, including relevant GCSEs or equivalent (Grades A*-C or Grade 4 or above). Proven skills and abilities of working with children with SEND are essential.
