Actual Salary range:  £4,570 - £4,635 p.a. inclusive (Scale 2)

Hours:  Monday – Friday, 7 hours, 5 minutes per week 11.55am – 1.20pm, 38 weeks per annum

Contract type:  Permanent

Commencement start and end dates:  As soon as possible

 

We are a friendly and welcoming two form entry Voluntary Aided Church of England primary school in the heart of Winchmore Hill, close to The Green and the overground train station. 

 

The school has a Christian ethos which is celebrated and incorporated in to the daily life of the school. The school has a strong community feel and is well supported by parents. There is an established senior leadership team in place and staff are welcoming and friendly.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled and suitably qualified Lunchtime Playleaders to join our motivated team of staff, making a positive difference to the lives of our young children. This is an exciting and exceptional opportunity for candidates to become fully involved in school life.  The role will require you to work within a team of playleaders, organising games and supervising children during lunch times.  You will be responsible for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break period. As a Lunchtime Playleader, you will be expected to take part in outdoor play activities, instructing the children and promoting play along with supervising in the dining hall and making lunchtimes an enjoyable experience for the children.  Applications from people with appropriate proven abilities, good communication and organisational skills are invited

 

In line with recent legislation, applicants must have a command of spoken English that is sufficient to effectively carry out the duties of the role.
