Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) x 2
Actual Salary Range: £17,598 - £18,897 p.a. inclusive (Scale 4)
Hours: 32 hours,10 minutes per week, Monday – Friday, 39 weeks per year
We require an HLTA (or equivalent standard or experience) to complement the professional work of our teachers and in the delivery of the National Curriculum. This role will involve planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities for small groups, and occasionally a whole class. You will also be required to provide some cover supervision.
You will be required to have a qualification as a HLTA, or a qualification of an equivalent standard and a minimum grade of C at GCSE, or equivalent, in English and Mathematics. It is also desirable that you have a specialist area, such as P.E., Music or ICT which will be used within this role. It would suit a post-graduate candidate looking to gain experience before embarking on a teaching career.
