Raglan Wrap Club was established in September 2017 offering wrap around provision for children aged 3-11 from 7.30am – 8.45am and from the end of the school day to 6pm. The team running the club is mostly made up of existing staff and has been very popular and is now oversubscribed with around 160 places each day.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic and committed deputy manager to help lead the club. This would suit somebody who has experience of working with children in a school or similar environment with the ability to lead a team.
The role is to:
● Plan and lead learning and play activities including homework;
● Uphold a high standard of behaviour, care and guidance for pupils;
● Maintain excellent relationships and communications with parents;
● Lead and support staff within the club to ensure high quality and positive interactions with pupils;
● Work closely with the Wrap Manager to plan and deliver a high quality provision.
The role will involve some split shifts between the morning and after-school sessions. There is flexibility between the deputy and manager to cover different aspects of the provision.

The ideal candidate would:
● Level 3 qualification in Early Years education, childcare or playwork
● Have qualifications at or above GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above), or equivalent;
● Proven skills and abilities of working with children;
● A caring and committed approach to working with children;
● The ability to lead a team;
● Have excellent admin and organisational skills
● Competent IT skills
