Actual Salary Range:           £22,148 - £22,465 pa inc (Scale 3)

Hours:                                    32.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum

  Monday to Friday (8:30am-3:30pm)

Contract Type:                      Fixed Term Contract

Latymer All Saints Church of England Primary School Governing Board are looking to appoint a full-time support staff to join our team as soon as possible. We are looking to appoint a high quality, enthusiastic teacher. We are a successful, forward thinking Primary School in a diverse multi-cultural area. Our school benefits from fantastic green spaces with many themed garden areas, a large playground with fields and has good public transport and road links. We have ample on-site parking.

You will need to:

  • Be flexible – as the role will involve supporting children in the Early Years setting/KS1/KS2 (as appropriate), as well as being responsible for inputting and delivering the Learning or Pastoral Support Plans.
  • Use their initiative to provide appropriate support.
  • Advocate for children with additional needs and their families within the setting.
  • Support child/ren to achieve their best – socially, emotionally and academically.
  • Provide input into the writing and maintaining the Learning or Pastoral Support Plans.
  • Liaise with the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion to ensure appropriate support is in place.
  • Support children as necessary in the setting, ensuring their main needs are met while they attend, including toileting and eating.
  • Anything else as deemed appropriate by the Headteacher.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development.
