Are you an excellent teacher with a proven track record of providing high quality teaching and learning? Are you looking for a new challenge?  If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner with proven teaching skills to join our strong and supportive teaching team as a class teacher from September 2024. Your role would be to cover a maternity absence in one of our classes.  We warmly welcome applications from teachers with proven experience who are passionate about delivering an excellent education for all, with a proven track record of making a difference to children's achievement or from ECTs who can demonstrate effective practice in a mainstream classroom. You will have high expectations of teaching and learning, excellent behaviour management strategies and believe in creating an inclusive ethos for all children.  You will be able to lead by example and support the Senior Leadership Team with our ongoing coaching and mentoring cycle. The successful candidate will be joining a team of dedicated, professional staff who place the children at the heart of everything they do.

Hadley Wood is a vibrant single-form entry, maintained school on the outskirts of London which provides a happy, inclusive and inspiring learning environment. Our recent Ofsted inspection (June 2022) highlighted that ‘Leaders and teachers have high expectations of pupils. The curriculum is well planned and broad. As a result, pupils achieve well across the subjects.’ Our children are enthusiastic learners with an appetite for engaging with all areas of the curriculum. We are looking for a new team member who can support us with our aim to further develop our curriculum offer.  Our focus on values ensures that we can achieve our vision that every child will become “confident, capable and caring” by raising their levels of self-awareness, resilience, and respect for others.

The successful candidate will:

·         Have a passion for learning and teaching.

·         Have proven track record of teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

·         Be able to demonstrate a strong behaviour management skillset.

·         Be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice through creative and challenging teaching.

·         Be committed to raising standards in the school.

·         Be motivated and have high expectations for pupil achievement.

·         Inspire confidence and respect amongst colleagues and the school community.

We can offer:

·         Enthusiastic, well behaved and happy children who are eager to learn.

·         A very friendly and supportive staff team.

·         Committed and supportive Governing Body.

·         A commitment to ongoing professional development.
